Isabel’s made a big announcement at the Burton upon Trent’s Christmas lights switch-on event, where Nathan Dawe’s bar and restaurant will be moving to the old Locomotive pub site across the road on Station Street.
We suspected this was going to be the case when Aromate – an Indian restaurant which previously occupied the old Locomotive pub site – closed its doors September this year.
The current site which Isabel’s occupy has received a roaring trade and massive success since it first opened, and we believe a bigger venue is much needed for its continued growth.
Isabel’s posted a teaser video of the upcoming move on their Facebook page, which can be found below.
After years of unforgettable dining, memories and celebrations, Isabel’s Burton is stepping into a stunning new home… just across the road. Yes, after years of being “beautiful but far too small,” we’re finally getting the space we all deserve. And for the first time ever… a garden!!
Expect everything you love about Isabel’s from refined dining, crafted cocktails, and warm hospitality but now elevated with family-friendly breakfasts, relaxed all-day dining, £10 lunch, evening favourites, unforgettable Sunday roasts and dedicated cosy corners for laptop working and daytime coffees. We’ll also be open 7 days a week!
Big things are coming… and trust us, this next chapter is going to blow the doors off everything you thought Isabel’s could be.
